So, I got Samaya into Mother's Morning Out at Pear Orchard Presbyterian Church. That'll make it easier to get Jadyn to her therapies during the week. I was told by the woman in charge of Mother's Morning Out to check into The Little Lighthouse (she volunteers there.) I was also told by someone else to check into it. I called today. If I heard her right, there are 21 kids on the waiting list ahead of Jadyn. I told her all about Jadyn. She's a perfect candidate. It made me cry. It's great that she's a prefect candidate because she can get all of her therapies there at school year round. But I cried because it's a special needs school. Here is the link: http://new.llhms.org/
From what I've heard only 6 kids graduate a year. We'll be waiting for years & it only goes until 6 years old. One good thing, it's FREE! Samaya's school (my oldest, 2 1/2) cost money. Her summer school, costs money. Jadyn is starting Mother's Morning Out at Samaya's school in August. That's not free. Money is not something we have in my house. Private school's are the only option where I live. Public schools in my city are not the way to go. If you live in Jackson & are reading this, I guarantee your kid are in private school or are going to a public school in a different city! I also have 2 dogs that need shots, heart worm pills, flea meds, etc. I'm doing good to pay for their monthly heart worm & flea meds. Some months they go without. I've been trying to get my one dog's shots ($80) for 2 months now. He was born with hereditary mange (not contagious) & it has come back. He needs treatment. I can't even get him to the vet for his shots to have him looked at & see about treatment for mange. He licks & scratches & is furless on his belly. If it weren't for Medicaid, Jadyn woudln't be getting therapy now. Medicaid is a lifesaver!! I'll have to write more later!
